Chaos's nomination letter
Submitted by Rick Van Lent.
Region 7's top dog Chaos debuted September 2005 and was quickly a favorite to watch due to his eagerness to race combined with his always happy
disposition. A rock solid competitor, running in any position giving it his all in every race. With the addition of open class Chaos showed his
versatility by being able to race in any team's lineup. This lead to the amazing career accomplishment of racing with over 200 dogs, representing
35 clubs, undoubtedly a flyball record. At 9 Chaos showed guts and determination fighting back from a serious hip injury requiring major
reconstruction and lengthy rehab to race again. Years later he was voted Region MVP and miraculously achieving his Hobbes Award in 2016.
This was a major regional celebration for so many that helped him reach this milestone. Chaos was an ambassador for NAFA and flyball, participating
in numerous public demos to the delight of the crowds. In later years he was instrumental in helping multiple rookie dogs get their start in
flyball. He reluctantly retired at 14, ranked NAFA #41, #11 Mixed Breed, flyball's #1 BorderJack and had multiple Region and NAFA Top Dogs
placements. Chaos, a dog truly worthy of HOF consideration.
